Electric Heat Trace for Pipe Freeze Protection, Cooling Tower Freeze Protection, Grease Waste Heating, Roof and Gutter Deicing, Snow-melting, Mullion Heaters, Exterior Cladding Anti-Icing, Domestic Hot Water Maintenance, Computer Room Leak Detection, Controls, Monitoring, Power Distribution.

Industrial and commercial piping systems require Heat Tracing to prevent critical pipes from freezing. Typical designs call for a Maintain Temperature between 40 and 45 deg F and controls that utilize an ambient-sensing t-stat, thermistor or RTD to monitor the outside air temperature, thus ensuring the Heat Trace System will energize whenever the outside air temperature falls below 45 deg F. Control options range from simple dedicated ambient t-stats to micro-processor-based controllers depending on the level of control/monitoring required by the application. Self-regulating heating cables vary their power output, can be crossed over themselves without the risk of burning out and can be cut to length in the field. Thermal Fluidics, Inc. can size the appropriate heater for your application depending on your specific criteria. We will create a complete design that will meet or exceed the design requirements and develop an accurate Bill of Materials including; Cables, Installation Accessories, and Controls. Our heat trace systems can be used in steam cleanable applications as well as hazardous area locations.

Grease Waste Heat Trace Systems are used to prevent the build-up of grease in pipes by maintaining a temperature sufficient to keep the grease in a liquid state. Typical designs call for a Maintain Temperature between 110 deg F and 120 deg F. Typical control methods will utilize a pipe -sensing t-stat, thermistor or RTD to monitor the pipe wall temperature, thus ensuring waste will continue to flow. Self-regulating heating cables vary their power output, can be crossed over themselves without the risk of burning out and can be cut to length in the field. Thermal Fluidics, Inc. can size the appropriate heater for your application depending on your specific criteria. We will create a complete design that will meet or exceed the design criteria and develop an accurate Bill of Materials including; Cables, Installation Accessories, and Controls. Roof & Gutters require Heat Tracing to prevent damaging ice build-up. Ice dams form when melt water freezes at an overhang or gutter. This ice dam may grow large enough that melt water will back up under the shingle or roof seam and drip into the building space causing major water damage. Roof & Gutter Deicing cables are also effective in preventing large, damaging icicles from forming along a roof edge. Roof & Gutter Deicing cables are designed to provide a drain path for melt water to exit a roof structure. They are not designed to completely melt snow and ice on a roof or building surface. Most designs call for cable(s) to be installed in gutters, downspouts and along roof edges to prevent ice dams. Control options range from simple, dedicated gutter-mounted controls to micro-processor-based controllers with BMS interface capabilities depending on the level of control/monitoring required by the application. Self-regulating heating cables vary their power output, can be crossed over themselves without the risk of burning out and can be cut to length in the field. Thermal Fluidics, Inc. can size the appropriate heater for your application depending on your specific criteria. We will create a complete design and BOM, and develop an accurate Bill of Materials including; Cables, Installation Accessories, and Controls.

Floor Warming Products are used to make ceramic tile, slate, laminate and virtually any floor surface pleasantly warm. We offer a variety of technologies depending on surface type and phase of construction. Ideal for new or existing construction or floors over unheated spaces, our mats, cables and elements will efficiently bring warmth to your cold flooring surfaces. Thermal Fluidics, Inc. can select and size the appropriate heater for your application depending on your specific criteria. We will create a complete design that will meet or your requirements and develop an accurate Bill of Materials including: Heaters, Installation Accessories, and Controls.

Heat Trace cables can be used to maintain hot water in piping without the use of re-circulation systems. The self-regulating technology eliminates the need for expensive return piping, valves, pumps, and maintenance associated with re-circulation systems. The heat trace cable produces heat to maintain the desired temperature in the pipe when there is no demand for hot water. No thermostat is required. The pipe heat trace cable will adjust its heat output to minimize electrical consumption costs. For convenience to the installer, the cable is offered in 120, 208 and 240-volt versions.

The application of mullion heaters to prevent condensation on window panes and frames has grown significantly in the past few years. Protecting valuable property in libraries, museums, art galleries and commercial buildings from dripping condensation has led to an increased demand for our proprietary mullion heating systems. We have successfully design and supplied mullion heating systems throughout the northeast.

Thermal Fluidics, Inc. offers an innovative product that protects people and property by preventing the hazardous build-up of snow/ice on building exteriors. Falling snow/Ice from buildings onto pedestrians and property has led to the development and application of this unique product. Unlike traditional cable systems that help prevent ice dams, our product prevents snow/ice build-up on a structure's surface. Additionally, our Trans/Thermal Anti-Icing Systems (TM) are not mounted externally and do not impact the aesthetics of the structure's architecture. Thermal Fluidics, Inc. has successfully designed and supplied Trans/Thermal Anti-Icing Systems (TM) throughout the northeast.

CABLES

Trans/Thermal Anti-Icing Systems (TM) are custom made for every application. Designed to be affixed to the cladding interior with a PSA or by mechanical means, they transfer heat conductivity through the structure's cladding to maintain the outside surface temperature above 32 deg F. The uniform heat prevents snow/ice from accumulating on the surface. The heaters are very thin and lightweight and require no special tools to apply.

Our automatic snow controllers are effective in energizing the anti-icing system whenever there is potential for frozen precipitation-

Industrial and commercial piping, tanks, floor warming systems and temperature maintenance systems may require a simple control mechanism to energize the heating system when the temperature falls below setpoint. Thermostats are the most economical means of on/off control available. Thermostats are available with fixed or adjustable setpoints, line or ambient sensing, in hazardous or non-hazardous configurations. Thermal Fluidics, Inc. will assist you with the proper selection of thermostat based on your design criteria.

Industrial and commercial piping, tanks, floor warming systems and temperature maintenance systems may require a higher level control mechanism to energize and monitor the heating system when the temperature falls below setpoint. Thermostats are the most economical means of on/off control available, but do not allow the customer the ability to monitor the functionality of the system. Thermal Fluidics. Inc. offers a diverse line of products specifically designed to control and monitor heat trace systems.
